This is a zoomed-in, digitally enhanced version of my Iridium flare photo. There's a lot of noise, obviously, but you can also clearly see the entire flare -- 68 seconds' worth of satellite movement, brightening and dimming -- as well as the constellation Pegasus that it flew through.
Photo enhanced in GraphicConverter for OS X. I'm sure somebody could do a smoother, less noisy enhancement, but alas, I'm not very good at digital photo manipulation (and I don't have Photoshop), so this was the best I could do.
