It’s a Biblical Battle With David Being Foreclosed Upon by Goliat
In Riverside, California a Biblical battle is being raged. The family fighting foreclosure is David while Goliath is represented by Freddie Mac. The family of Arturo de los Santos comprises of his spouse and four children. They have once suffered eviction and been thrown out of their home. But lately with the help of Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment teaming up with the Occupy activists of Riverside and Los Angeles they have reoccupied their house that has since then been lying vacant. They have fortified the area with boots and shields against the return of the Sheriff.
The story is the same – Santos is employed and willing to reach a deal but Freddie is deaf to his appeals. Today his plight is being focused upon by the media – particularly Huffington Post and MSNBC.
Santos of Corpus Christi joined the Navy in 1991 and then came to Santa Ana where he got into the aviation industry. At present he holds the post of supervisor. He and his spouse Magdalena bought a house in Riverside where they reside with four children.
