[UPDATE -- July 13, 6:51 EDT] The liftoff of the Space Shuttle Endeavor was scrubbed yet again on Monday, July 13, due to bad weather conditions.

NASA has issued a statement, saying:

"Liftoff of space shuttle Endeavour on the STS-127 mission has been scrubbed once more due to weather within the launch area at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Anvil clouds and storm cells containing lightning flared up toward the end of the countdown, violating stringent launch safety rules."

After a weekend of delays, NASA's shuttle Endeavour will attempt to launch from Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral on Monday.

This will be the fifth attempt at a launch, after poor weather conditions and lightning cancelled the launches planned for this weekend. Canadian astronaut Julie Payette and six crewmates will get another chance at launching at 6:51pm EST on Monday.

Refueling will begin at 9:25am and the astronauts will start to suit up at 2:30pm this afternoon.

Thunderstorms forced NASA to delay the launch of space shuttle Endeavour for a fourth time Sunday when a rain cloud drifted within 20 nautical miles of its launch pad.
