Kevin Bacon is one of the newest victims of the Madoff Ponzi scheme and the list is expected to keep growing.  Bernie Madoff is expected to surrender a disclosure list of all Madoff Investments holdings later today.

DOMINOES KEEP FALLING: The latest big-name person to get sucked down into the Bernard Madoff investment scam is Kevin Bacon. You've got to bet he wished he had about 20 degrees of separation from that guy.

The fallen investment guru is scheduled to submit a list of his personal assets to the Securities and Exchange Commission by the end of the year, including property that could be tapped to make restitution to victims of what authorities say was a $50 billion Ponzi scheme.

In a previous court hearing, Madoff also agreed to provide the names and locations of entities, bank accounts, brokerage accounts, investments or assets held by his business, Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC.

Madoff's lawyer, Ira Lee Sorkin, confirmed that his client intended to meet the deadline, but offered no other comment.

Madoff, punished? What a joke. The judge again today allowed him to stay in his $7 million dollar apt here in NYC! In addition to the initially disclosed things he did, he attempted to mail $173 million to friends/family, and filter off personal belongings....this guy is walking around free after ruining so many lives. It is almost like saying "scam and steal and you won't be punished"...Welcome to American justice! lol

Another victim is L'Oreal heiress Liliane Bettencourt, supposedly the world's wealthiest woman.

"Bettencourt, a Parisian, joins wealthy individuals from around the world, including Spanish billionaire Alicia Koplowitz, U.S. moviemaker Steven Spielberg and Nobel laureate Elie Wiesel, among victims of what Madoff, 70, told investigators was a $50 billion Ponzi scheme."

No wonder L'Oreal USA in New York cut back on its annual goodies' bags for freelancers in 12/08.

My friend Tabetha and I spotted Kevin Bacon while he was filming Death Sentence in Columbia, SC. This picture was taken on Halloween, 2007.
