Eight years of charm, style and power. The legendary Murciélago is about to be replaced with a new model next year. To mark the occasion Lamborghini released the LP670-4 Super Veloce.
670bhp, top speed of 342km/h and 0 to 100km/h in 3.2 seconds. Impressive numbers and the SV is about to be taken seriously.
For a long time people are arguing if Lamborghini is a supercar or a hyper car. Painted in orange or shouting green, they always look amazing in white.
Since 1998 when Lamborghini was owned by Audi and Ferrari was fighting for more power, Lamborghini is now known as a reliable and charming car company. The Murciélago was introduced in 2001 and since the day it became one of the most beautiful cars ever made. Designed by Luc Donckerwolke it haven‘t changed the shape a lot during the year. But the final SV is styled to save weight, be more aerodynamic and much more faster. Yet – it‘s the fastest Lamborghini ever made.
But it‘s about to become not only the most beautiful and powerfull Lambo ever made, it‘s about to step into history pages. To mark the 40th anniversary of the company, the House of the Raging Bull offers a special edition of Murciélago – the Murciélago 40th anniversary edition. Only 50 car painted in Verde Artemis (jade green) was made for this occasion. To mark the end of Murciélago production itself, company is making only 350 SV‘s. Even it‘s lighter than the previous car, SV is priced at 270 038 pounds tag.
The enormous 6.5 litlre V12 is producing a woping 670bhp. To cope with the brutal power Murciélago comes with a bit modified look and four wheel drive. While other companys are releasing beasts with rear wheel drive, Lamborghini takes that very seriously. Equiped with newest technologies, the power goes where it needs to be. There won‘t be a rear wheel spin and the clever gear box will make the ride smooth. Comparing with the previous editions, SV is 100kg lighter. That was achieved by optimising the engine and transmission also as putting in more carbon fiber and anlcantara.
The company is offering two different rear spoilers for top speed and downforce. The small standart-fit rear spoiler allows you to reach the top speed of 342km/h, while the large “Aeropack Wing“ will give you more downforce and a top speed of 337km/h.
But not only engine and aerodynamics impress the most – stepping inside is another experience. The upward-opening doors welcomes you into exclusive interior of the carbon fiber and Alcantara.
The last mohican - Murciélago LP670-4 Super Veloce – supreme power and balanced beauty. You must see one. The most staggering and exciting noise roaring from the exhaust when you push the throttle and reach the 8000rpm limit. A masterpiece. Car to be enjoyed by looking and driving.
