LG gives away $50,000 to textr's

NEW YORK CITY, July 9th - Today in the Roseland Ballroom in midtown Manhattan hundreds of eager text messaging teens gathered to compete in the LG National Texting Championship. The competition which is an accumulation of winners from the Regional Challenge, the National Online Game, and the WildCard Challenge gave the competitors a shot at winning 50,000 in cash at today's event.

While not the most exciting event it gave the kids a chance to invest in their future with the prize money they could earn from competing.
