Read this if you want to feel better about the economy, or the recession as a whole for that manner. As I was buying into the recession news on all the major news outlets, my husband reminds me, “there are more companies out there having record breaking years in 2008 and now then ever before.” What?

That got me to thinking, let me go see what he is talking about as I started to research ground breaking revenue in 2008. As I compiled a little list for my own amusement, and started to read press release after press release, I began to sit a little taller. What is going on? It’s like a major cleaning house. The big, solid, innovative and in demand companies are thriving in this environment.

And don’t forget the smaller one’s, the little spa’s and massage parlors are getting a big boom as well. Then there are the rest of the companies going belly up. Many big corporations are now history for many reasons.

But, let’s focus on the one’s that are reaching for the sky and blowing us all away.
