The never ending series of Mac vs PC, Apple vs Windows ads now have some new additions. The latest Mac videos take aim at Windows 7.

These highly successful Mac vs PC ads are effective because their premise is simple, they are easy to produce (white background) and the two actors are effective, particularly the actor who represents the PC. playing off the MAC. they are very easy to produce

The "PC" actor is played by John Hodgman, who is a regular contributor to The Daily Show, with Jon Stewart. Hodgman  is also an accomplished author and humourist. His writings have appeared in The Paris Review, McSweeny's Quarterly, and The New York Times Magazine.

The Mac actor is played by Justin Long who has had roles in the TV series ED, and films inlcuding; Dodgeball, Live Free or Dies Hard, and He's Just Not That Into You.

The question about these Mac vs PC ads is are they a bit tired. Perhaps, like a sitcom that had run on a wee bit too long it is time for Apple to come with some fresh creative?
