SEGA MASTER SYSTEM STILL AVAILABLE!!!

now they are offered in a closed box, 131 games built in.

it is unknown if they can be shipped overseas, and if they work via video, or television modulator.

what you see here is not the model offered right now.

and the price is rather high, about 150$, plus shipping to overseas (might be $50), the good thing is there are 131 games built in.

in Europe, there are only old consoles on EBAY, and no new games.

people were never offcially allowed to write software for this console, or to access the module slot.

it is just a tiny Z80 computer, a few kbyte RAM, and TV interface.
so what?
SEGA is staying completely silent on this, and it is unlikely they will offer SDK for the master system.

what do they think? people just wanted to play a few years in a rush, and then to dispose all the old games in favour of something different?

it is a shame they do not offer longtime support, 20 years or more, and allow people actually to use the "power base" for instance to display graphics on television.

i know it is only joke- it is not C64 age anymore, and nowadays people settle for a SD card video frame (and can show everything in full color).

why support "high tech" toys for just a few obscure individuals?

they could at least offer some sort of SDK on their websites, which are not conform anyway, there is SEGA EUROPE, SEGA USA, and SEGA JAPAN.

they do not really have one web system, but three different web systems.

so it is unknown where they can offer a SDK for the master system, or even to sell it directly via web interface.

maybe it is only a few number who are interested to write software for the master system.
most people now use emulator, which is not officially allowed, not licensed, and has compatibility problems.

and others maybe use old master system games via adapter on their megadrive.

90% people have XBOX, PS3, etc., one ore more PCs...
is this a reason to throw away old SEGAs, and not to play the games anymore?

why there are no new games?
why they do not offer SEGA consoles for Europe (maybe they would be willing to ship some from Brasil, if people pay the shipping costs).

would you be willing to pay $200 for a new master system III?
most people maybe won't, they can get it more cheap on ebay.
some people anyway will try...just to have it.

the model offered right now looks different, and there is no module port.
