Netflix Down March 22, 2011: Movie Site Suffers Outage

Netflix appears to be down. The popular movie rental and video streaming site appears to have suffered some sort of outage.

According to some users, "thе DVD processing capabilities don’t seem tο bе affected – although уοu can’t manage уοur queue now, but thе streaming content іѕ ԁеfіnіtеƖу nοt working."

Netflix responded to the outage via Twitter: "We are aware that the website may not work for everyone at this time. We're working to get it fixed as quickly as we can."

No timetable was given as to when the Netflix may be up and running.

Yes, it is confirmed that NetFlix is officially down as of 12:09AM EST.They'll be back up shortly, I just got off the phone with Tech Support.The service is only down for those who stream movies via PS3, Wii, XBox or other NetFlix-Ready streaming devices.The DVD delivery service is still operating as usual, since that system and database is not tied to the one that is used to stream NetFlix services.Hope this helps. . .
