Nevada Tops in Legalized Prostitution, Gambling and Foreclosures
Republican Ron Paul has been Texas congressman twelve times. At the age of 76 years he banked on a mega showing at the Nevada Caucus held on 4th February to give a fillip to his third bid for the president’s crown. He focused on individual liberty, the rights of the states and low taxes. It went down well with the voters in Nevada where prostitution is not illegal, where gambling dominates the scene and where foreclosure numbers have remained the highest for five years.
A gambler helped in renting a billboard, at root-beer socials a Mormon took the opportunity to spread his message and prostitutes of fame donated their tips – for septuagenarian Ron Paul.
Fifty two year old Julie Benincase of Las Vegas is one of Paul’s ardent supporters. She said, “Go to Romney campaign and ask ‘how many of your lives have been changed by the philosophy of Mitt Romney’. My entire life – just about every spare moment, in one way or another – is promoting Ron Paul’s message of liberty, limited government and sound money”. For her it was not just empty words. She had donated jewellery worth $1,600 for this campaign.
