New Balance Jumps on the Sports Apparel "Dunkadelic" Bandwagon
July 27, 2011- Yesterday it was reported that Adidas, Nike, and the Jordan Brand used the "Dunkadelic" terminology to further promote their products by using the basketball/hip-hop popular cultural term.
New Balance the athletic and footwear company that mainly focuses on running shoes is now jumping on the bandwagon by using the term Dunkadelic.
The New Balance 851 Basketball shoe: Jump aboard the dunkadelic express in New Balance's 851 basketball shoes, featuring a herringbone outsole to keep you nimble up and down the court.
The Dunkadelic term will be celebrating its 15th Anniversary of being created next February 2012. The flavorful dunk term seems to be more popular now than it was when it was on the feet of Allen Iverson for last played game of Michael Jordan's career on April 16, 2003 (Iverson wore the ATR Dunkadelic shoe for Michael Jordan's last NBA game).
