Digital cameras like mobile phone Technologically are digitally expansive when it comes to more and more user setiings on newer models but given core operational quality improvements its a user choice as to whether or not utilise them. Between camera models such as the Canon 5D and the Nikon D300 each offers advantages over the other - whether day or night shooting. Having used both cameras over a period of time it interests me that "focus" is specific to ones "choice" of object thus denying proper focus as to other objects from being captured and digitally manipulated later. I do understand the need to make an object the focus of an image however one basically discards the remainder of the information available. Do most painters paint blurs - well yes and no yet given the FULL VISUAL INFORMATION around you its for YOU to decide on what will be focused upon.

Whats right and whats wrong. Take a look at the attached image then decide whether its possible.
