New car gadget reads email out loud
The device is called iLane - it allows you to hear your emails while driving and respond without taking your eyes off the road and hands off the wheel.
It works by reading your e-mails out loud as well as access your smartphone applications through voice recognition. It manages phone calls, SMS messages, and calendars.
The initial outlay cost is $600 and $8 a month after. Currently it is only available with the BlackBerry(R) 8000 series and other smartphones running the BlackBerry OS.
If it is, you’ll be interested in a new Canadian gadget called iLane, said to be the first in-car device that interacts directly with your smartphone and lets you manage your inbox using simple voice commands.
The added features also allow the iLane to provide daily news, sports, and weather through the AP and Weather Network.
For those people who needs to be in touch with the office 24/7 without a second to spare, this gadget/device is for you. Soon enough humans wouldn't need the basic reading/writing skills as machines will just do it for us through voice recognition.

When I am driving that is pretty much the only time I don't have to deal with e-mails or messages - I could never buy this - you would never get away from constant messages!
