Once again, the future is being told in code. Firmware code, specifically. MacRumors has discovered evidence that suggests a major hardware revision is in the works for the iPhone line.
They arrived at this conclusion after finding a section of code in the latest iPhone firmware.
Evidence of iPhone 2.1 points to a multicore processor, Nike+ intergration. Apparently apple is testing the device in-house, perhaps in preparation for the iPhone 3G 1-year anniversary June 2009.
