A brand new payment system, called Pay-in-Play, launched today. The new system allows for payment methods to be inserted into media players directly.

Created by Dacast, Pay-in-Play functions from inside a media player. The power of this new technology is that provides an easier way to create PayPerView (PPV) or subscription media. All that is needed is a credit card number and the system can register a payment and grant instant access to the "monetized content" for watchers. Its a quick method. Its also one that can be done entirely in the player so someone doesn't have to leave and visit another page to make the payment.

The technology is available now and can be added to live and previously recorded video and audio media material. The distribution point for Pay-in-Play is from the company's website: DaCast Online Video Service.
