My dad got me a bluetooth headset for Christmas. It works pretty well, although the range is only about 20 ft, which is fine unless there's a wall between you, and then it starts to get choppy. My apartment isn't very friendly to radio waves or other over-the-air signals in general, so it's nice to be able to put the phone near the window and sit at my desk while I'm on the phone.
Plus, the Motorola Razr is one uncomfortable hunk of metal to hold against one's head for any length of time. I also noticed that the "sweet spot" for actually being able to hear the person from the earpiece on the phone is really narrow. If you move it ever so slightly away from your ear you can't hear people speaking, which is awful.
So, the Razr kinda sucks as a phone. But paired with the Bluetooth headset it's perfectly usable. Actually, I find that the voice quality of the BT is much better than using the phone without the headset, and a hell of a lot more comfortable.
So thanks, Da.
