This advancement by Nokia break down the barriers of using wires and cables for charging and it also utilizes waste radiowaves emitted by television and radio sets.

The recharging system by Nokia absorbs wasted radiowaves and use it’s collected electromagnetic energy creating an electrical current that makes the recharging of batteries possible. The scale of frequency that this system can utilize is huge considering the fact that energy in any type of wave is infinitesimal. Such form of energy transfusion was first demonstrated in 1893 by Nikola Tesla, with the idea of attempting to build an intercontinental transmission tower that will send wireless power across the Atlantic.
