Norad Easter Bunny Tracker 2009: an Easter rumour
Online searches are being made for the Norad Easter Bunny Tracker 2009, but alas, this is just an Easter rumour. Norad is not going to be tracking the Easter Bunny, like they do with Santa at Christmas Time.
Children around the world would love to watch the Easter Bunny hop his (or her) way across the globe handing out yummy chocolate eggs, but no one will get to, this year anyway.
If you have an iPhone, there is a somewhat less exciting option:
Well, if you have an Apple iPhone, you can go to the iTunes store and purchase the Easter Bunny Tracker application for .99 cents. This will allow you or your kids to see where the Easter bunny is, what the Easter bunny is doing, and watch the Easter bunny hand out those great Easter treats.
Children could however text the Easter Bunny if they want, but it's not known if it replies to you.
I would ask him to bring more eggs if I even had an iPhone to text on.

Cute... I think Norad is a far less exclusive and is an inexpensive way for children to have fun than any Apple products ...
cheers

I had no idea that Norad was not tracking the Easter Bunny.
The Easter Bunny is very similar in trait to its Christmas holiday counterpart, Santa Claus, as they both bring gifts to good children on the night before their respective holiday. Its origin mentioned in print as early as 1620;[1] can be traced to the German fertility goddess Ēostre.[2]
The ancient Saxons celebrated the return of spring with an uproarious festival commemorating their goddess of offspring and of springtime, Eostre. When the second-century Christian missionaries encountered the tribes of the north with their pagan celebrations, they attempted to convert them to Christianity.

Everybody knows that the Easter Bunny doesn't fly... He tunnels, pulling a basket of eggs behind him on a tow-rope, like in The Great Escape.

Was there not a show called the Space Bunny? Or was that Bugs Bunny going into space?
