Heartiest Congratulations to Rachel Nixon on her new appointment in CBC.
Her track record is,indeed, impressive.
It is heartening to know she has helped to develop NowPublic.com as global news editor before moving to CBC.
I hope she would play a positive role to initiate some new links between NowPublic.com and CBC News.
Thanks for the heart-warming story. See you!

Many thanks everyone for your kind comments. I'll miss working with you all but have learned a lot in my time here, which I will carry with me to my next role. Meanwhile you're in good hands with Tina and Jarrett, Amy, Jordan and Rob.

All the best to Rachel Nixon. :) She deserves it.
CBC is an interesting News site and you are well qualified for the task.
I do prefer the CGBC though, (the French CBC)Â Especially les Carnet with Yanick Villedieu and Gerald Fillion as well as Michel Cormier who seem to bring rather interesting Postings, Unfortunately though they wont let me post as well. J

Rachel:
It was a pleasure and an honour working with and learning from you in Now Public.
You deserve the new position in CBC since you are one of the greatest in journalism.
I hope to visit you in CBC some times in the same way I visited you in the BBC.
Miami Florida seconds the motion for a virtual going away party. Best Wishes
