One of my goals for the trip Kimberly and I took to New York City this weekend was to see the new New York Times building. Nicolai Ouroussoff's review of it last November reminded me how much I love modern architecture. Ouroussoff commented that architect Renzo Piano's goal in encasing the lobby in glass was to "blur the boundary between inside and out, between the life of the newspaper and the life of the street." I especially like how the chrome logotype contrasts with the transparency of the windows.
