Got an elusive OLPC XO-1 for christmas from my parents - very freaking cool surprise! Surprisingly small, but that's part of what makes it unique. Runs custom "Sugar" GUI, and has a lot of apps designed for education/learning/collaboration and stuff. It configuation-less-ly connects to any nearby XO-1s, which as you can imagine would be pretty killer for a school or other "community" situation.
I've already messed around with mine enough to load Ubuntu Linux on it, as well as investigated the wireless capabilities for possible wardriving or other fun "shenanigans" as such. But maybe that's for another website/chatroom... ;)
