Orlando Travel Tradeshow: Answers the tough Airline travel questions.
The travel industry is changing, from limited sized carry ons, to Fuel Surcharges. The Travel Trade Show in Orlando will answer these questions and more. Alexandria, VA- THE TRADESHOW (Travel Retailing and Destination Expo) announced today special promotions and complimentary tours for delegates attending this year's show. The 2008 THE TRADESHOW will take place in Orlando, Sept. 7-9, at the Orange County Convention Center.
“NTA is pleased to be one of 16 strategic partners in THE TRADESHOW and we commend everyone for their willingness to work with other industry associations and seek collaboration on this event," said Bob Hoelscher, CTP, chairman and CEO of the National Tour Association, one of THE TRADESHOW's first Strategic Partners. “THE TRADESHOW provides delegates with a complete experience," Hoelscher added, “including business, education and these new complimentary sightseeing tours."
SeaWorld and Aquatica will offer free admission to all THE TRADESHOW delegates from Saturday, Sept. 6, through Wednesday, Sept. 10. Travel agents and suppliers will need to show their THE TRADESHOW badge and a valid photo ID to enter either park. This offer is only valid during the parks' normal operating hours.
Interested travel professionals will also enjoy complimentary admission to Universal Studios Florida and Universal's Islands of Adventure. Agents and suppliers must present their 2008 THE TRADESHOW badge and valid matching photo ID at Universal's Islands of Adventure - group sales window to receive one complimentary one-day, two park ticket valid for admission to both parks.
Delegates will also have the opportunity to take three complimentary sightseeing tours. “An Afternoon of Culture in Winter Park" will take delegates through scenic Winter Park, a historic lakeside community just a few miles north of downtown Orlando. Founded in the late 1880s as a resort destination, Winter Park is now home to some of Central Florida's most treasured cultural gems. The “Unexpected Orlando" tour allows delegates to get to know the authentic Florida that existed long before the theme parks by spending the day outdoors at some of the area's natural attractions. The “Orlando Shopping Experience" will show agents the many shops offering plenty of great items at unbeatable prices in Orlando's high-end shopping malls and upscale outlet centers.
