Papa John’s has received numerous complaints via Twitter after an employee calls customer Minhee Cho “lady chinky eyes.”

After ordering a pizza from a Papa John’s in Harlem, Minhee Cho, a Korean American woman from New York City, posted an image of her receipt which stated Cho's name as "lady chinky eyes" to the popular social networking site, Twitter.

Along with the image, Minhee Cho tweeted, “Hey @PapaJohns just FYI my name isn’t ‘lady chinky eyes.’”

The well-known pizza establishment’s Twitter was flooded with complaints about the employee’s behavior and the company’s ethics stating,  “Your employees are your brand.”

Papa John’s responded, “We are very upset by recent receipt issue in New York & sincerely apologize to our customer. Franchise employee involved is being terminated.”

Although Cho is the Communications Manager at ProPublica, a newsroom that produces investigative journalism, she is not causing further commotion about the issue. Unfortunately for Papa John's though, they have lost a customer because Minhee Cho is not planning on returning to that particular Papa John’s location.

“I probably would not go there again, because they would probably spit in my food,” Cho told The New York Post. “I live in Harlem.”

That staffer isn't off the hook on this one, but what's a New York resident doing eating at Papa John's?
