Perhaps due to his recent marjauana controversy, 14 time Olympic gold medalist swimmer Michael Phelps has cancelled his Vancouver motivational speech scheduled for March 6th at The Power Within. While his cancellation remains unconfirmed by show producers, his headliner status for his presentation entitled "High Performance" has been removed from the Power Within online agenda. At prices up to $595 each, questions remain on how his cancellation may affect existing ticket-holders.

"High Performance" I love that! Maybe he could lecture the attendees on how you can smoke pot and still be a world class athlete.

It's true, he could turn this controversy around and do a speech on overcoming adversity in life and in sport.

Does he want to be a marijuana spokesperson though?
