Finally, the professional breathalyzers provide very precise results with their ability to measure the concentration of alcohol content in the blood to the thousandth decimal place. On the other hand, the personal breathalyzers measure the results only to the hundredth decimal place. This further makes the reliability of professional breathalyzers greater compared to that of personal breathalyzers.
In addition, the professional breathalyzers have also found a strong place among the law enforcement professionals. The personnel from police stations look out for accurate measurement of Blood Alcohol Concentration from those who drink and drive. They further need a measurement that is free of any distortions due to individual characteristics such as diabetics, low calorie diet etc. As the professional breathalyzers provide standardized results free of such errors, they find a strong place in law enforcement.
