The new Media Server search feature allows remote connections to a networked DLNA device.

If you don't have any DLNA devices, TwonkyVision Media Server for XP/OSX/Linux/embedded has a software version that you can use to share your media. Whoever came up with the name, I want some of what you were smoking :)
