A Quantum Levitation Video Is Making the Rounds on YouTube. F--king Magnets, How Do They Work? Here Are Some Clues

While many of us spend our time on YouTube looking for cute cats or fights at McDonald's, many folks are looking for something about Quantum Levitation, also known as Quantum Trapping.

A Quantum Levitation video from Tel-Aviv University has gone viral. The video shows the phenomenon of quantum locking/levitation which involved a "supercooled" magnet.

Scientists have known about the power of cooling magnets for a while. What makes this Quantum Levitation video interesting is that the magnet's position can be locked in a magnetic field while still in motion.

How Does Quantum Levitation Work?

You don't have to be the Insane Clown Posse to be confused by these frozen magnets. To be honest, we're not sure what's going on here. These scientists, however, provide a pretty decent Quantum Levitation definition.
