'Postmaster's Racist Friend': Postal Worker Fired After Encounter with Belligerent, Racist Lady

A series of videos posted by hugsonamic, a former Hingham USPS employee, show an increasingly-irate lady verbally abusing him as he tries to deliver a letter that was apparently sent to the wrong address. The man was apparently fired over the incident. In the two videos, we see the lady calling the postal worker "n*gger", and hitting him.

The videos are titled "Postmaster's Racist Friend 1 & 2", and seem to have been filmed on a mobile phone held sideways.

This is precisely the sort of thing that sparks community outrage on sites like Reddit and (unfortunately for the racist lady) 4chan. Should such a site's member base make it their mission to find out who the racist lady is, then nature will take its course.

According to hugonamic, he was fired over a year ago, but the videos were added to Youtube last month. Both of the videos posted so far are viewable here; both include all sorts of offensive language. You will cringe.

More videos are yet to come as I am still awaiting US Postal Services to tell me why there has not been an investigation which was the reason that I was fired.

This poor man deserves his job back. He was polite to that piece of trash the entire time. He needs to sue that witch and the USPS.

He delivered it to the right address. It was for her husband. She signed for it. Then she decided she didn't want to be on record as having received it. Probably some legal notice. He couldn't take it back -- she had signed for it. There is a procedure that involves her going to the post office. She was obviously avoiding some legal issues

Something isn't adding up.... This doesn't sound like something a carrier would get fired for. Even if he made a mistake, the progression of discipline would start with an official discussion or a letter of warning. I also have doubts that he made a mistake. If the letter was delivered to the right address, and restricted delivery wasn't paid by the sender, then there is no obligation to deliver it to a particular person. There's more to this story than we're getting. In any event, the woman's racism is inexcusable.
