A week or 3 ago, Rachel Maddow noticed that when Obama spoke on the economy, the stock market went up, and when the Bush Administration speaks about the economy, the stock market goes down.

The easy answer is to nail Paulson's shoes to the floor of a room that has no microphones or cameras in it.

Today it was announced that not only are we in a recession, but that it started in December of 2007.

So the scared bitches of Wall Street, (which I am pretty sure is still a boys club with not a testicle to be found anywhere) wet themselves and the market dropped nearly 700 points.

Doesn't this sound like Good News?

They could have said, “Last week was rosy but the recession starts today, grab your ankles!!!”

But they instead informed the people who some how were not paying attention, that we have been surviving a recession for the last year. And it should continue through the middle of next year.

Of course the people who were not previously paying attention, still are not, and probably voted for McCain and think that Republicans make us safe. (BTW FYI Republican policies generally make us exponentially less safe.)

SO HOW IS IT THAT THE BITCHES OF WALL STREET DID NOT PREVIOUSLY KNOW WE WERE IN A RECESSION???

And more importantly...

WHY DO WE ALLOW THEM SO MUCH POWER OVER OUR LIVES, COUNTRY, & ECONOMY???
