Reclaim Your Facebook Purity: New Script Blocks All Those Quizzes
Let's face it, you don't really want to know which Sex and the City character you are or whether or not you know your 80's TV theme songs. But thanks to Facebook opening their site to developers, we are now subjected to endless quizzes that have become the Web 2.0 version of e-mail chain letters and animated gifs.
Most Facebook users simply use the Hide function to get rid of these minor annoyances. But if you're serious about clearing Facebook clutter, there's a new greasemonkey script that allows you to reclaim your Facebook purity.
All you have to do is download the Greasemonkey Firefox Add-On. Once you have that installed, you can download the Facebook Purity script. The site also features scripts for Google Chrome, Opera, and Safari.
No need to thank us. Of course, if you do want to send us a token of your appreciation, just send us a glazed ham gift on Facebook. Sure, those quizzes on Facebook are stupid. But the gifts, they're just plain awesome.
