Renault Brings F1 to India - A Road Show Like No Other

Rajpath joined the F1 circuit, if only for a while, with the ING Renault F1 team burning some rubber at 300 kmph! Cheered on by thousands of fans, the Renault F1 cars shared the tarmac with the Renault Mégane Trophy, Toon cars and the formidable Logan. It was an automotive spectacle of awe, as F1 drivers Nelson Picquet Junior and Lucas Di Grassi tore up the 2 km stretch from India Gate to Rashtrapathi Bhavan.

Car Stunt Spectacular

Terry Grant, the renowned Hollywood stunt man, put on a spectacular show on the day. Driving a zebra stripped Toon car, he made the car spin 360 degree circles. At one point, he stepped out of the spinning car, walked to the cheering fans, and then walked back into the car, much to the amazement of all watching. He also did a figure 8 around two brave pit-girls standing on the road.
