Renault-Nissan Creates Even Cheaper Car

Does the world's poor really need cheap personal automobiles? Nevermind the environmental cost, Renault-Nissan seems to think people are only interesed in the retail cost.
The vehicle, so far known only as Codename ULC, will cost about the same as Tata Motors' Nano - which it has claimed is the world's cheapest car.
India will be the ULC car's main market with 400,000 to be made each year in a factory in Chakan, Maharashtra state in the west of the country.
Bajaj is the second-biggest maker of motorbikes in the country.
No details of the new car have been released, though production is expected to begin in 2011.
More cars, yeesh.

Bajaj's much talked about concept car, seen here, debuted at the Auto Expo 2008. Will this be the platform for the Bajaj-Renault-Nissan ultra low cost car?

Guess, there are already too many cars on the roads in India, and we're going to see extreemly cheap ones launched very soon :(
