This story will bring new hope for cerebral palsy and stroke patients.
Before, people suffering from cerebral palsy lose hope in life, seeing themselves as invalid and cannot lead a normal life. Now, MIT engineers successfully made and tested robotic devices to help patients suffering from cerebral palsy to move by controlling their arms and legs. Calling their brainchild “robotic therapy”, this series of devices reduces impairment and assists the neuro-development of young patients suffering stroke and other related diseases.
