I play a lot of computer [and recently NDS] games (Fallout, Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Age of Empires, Heroes of Might and Magic, etc.), but I rarely see it through the end because it gets too hard and I get frustrated.
If I do finish a game, it's usually because I was playing the game at the same time as my friend, Val. If she was playing it, she motivates me to play it through to the end because she talks about the game and the strategies she uses. It helps me a lot to see how others play.
I'm not really someone who can do completely new things without having SOME idea of how it's going to work.
Games that I remember completing:
- Diablo
- Leisure Suit Larry 7 (getting it on with the CG girls was a huge motivating factor *grin*)
- Neverwinter Nights series
- Privateer 2 (Fantastic story, great gameplay, the voice actor for Lev Arris was awesome and I loved the beer runs!)
- Bioforge (A classic masterpiece!)
- Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2
- Red Alert 2 (started playing it in 2000...finished in 2005...)
I require constant motivation in order to finish a project.
