Hey, while we're at it...I can't pay my bills, and I spent way more than I made this year, and for the past 10 years, I want some money too!

I promise if you give me 5 million...wait, make that 15 million, I will only pay myself $1 per year, and give all the money away to needy people selling things I want.

I also promise to pay it all back at the rate of $1 million per thousand years, or face criminal charges...

Side Note...

My father has worked for GM for over 30 years now...and I can't tell you how tired I am of hearing him and every GM employee I've ever met (and there have literally been 1,000's in 30 years) bragging about who does the least amount of work in a day.

The bar across the street from GM full of employees who are on the clock, some of whom were punched in and out by their line foreman, having a drink on the US tax payer.

Have you ever wondered why cars are so expensive???

Because the unions fight for employees to get more moeny, benefits, paid vacations, bonuses, etc.. because "they deserve it".

They work hard at being lazy Americans.

Why would the unions care about employees pay?

Because they have to "earn" what they are being paid for (whether you want to pay them or not...you don't have a choice, if you workl in a union shop, you are forced to be part of the union and pay them out of your earnings).

Why has the automotive industry sent so many jobs to other countries?

Because in other countries, capitalism and the love of money has not ruined them yet, and they still are willing to work for, and earn their pay.

Not only that, they know how hard it is to find work and how blessed you are to have a job, so they don't try and bilk every penny they possibly can from a dying industry.

It was reported on HNN (Headline News) that the average pay for a GM employee was $75 per hour.

Hmm.. Why are cars so expensive, why are the jobs leaving the US to other countries, will this change?

Bailout is nothing more than flogging a dead horse...

Until the work ethics and attitude of the American worker changes, and greed dies, and the unions begin to do what they were originally conceived for, protecting the employee from abuse by the company (not to fatten their pockets by proxy), and the corporate CEO's stop living high on the hog while their industry flounders...

Maybe there is something worth saving...

I drive a GMC and a Plymouth...did I buy them new, NOPE, can't afford a new vehicle...thanks dad for all your hard work, I paid for it growing up, and now you want me to pay for it again...No thinaks.

Get a job like the rest of us have to do in this world and EARN a living.
