Sierra Moonrise (1)

Full moon rising over the Sierras. The full moon was gorgeous when it was rising but I found I literally couldn't sleep because the moon was so bright at night (plus not getting accustomed to the thin air before actually setting out hiking, but that's an entirely different story.)

I picked kind of a bad time to actually go backpacking in the Sierras, but I guess at least I have pretty pictures to show for it.
