Is Skype Down? For Most Users, Yes

It looks like Skype is down on June 7, 2011. While users can login, they cannot get their accounts to show as online. Skype users around the world are unable to connect to the network that Microsoft just bought for $8.5 billion. Do they have Carfax for VOIP products?
When I say "down for most users", I mean "I can't find anyone anywhere who's able to use Skype at the moment". While Skype.com loads, that doesn't help you much.
If you have Gmail, Google Docs, AIM, iChat, or MSM, give 'em a try until Skype gets fixed.
For now, though, Skype is down.
[As of 8:40 ET/5:40 PT, Skype seems to be back up, albeit sporadically]

For some reason I was online a few minutes ago but only 2 of my 200+ contacts where online. When trying to reconnect and fix, I can't connect anymore. :(

Microsoft has nothing to do with it. The buying proccess will be completed in autumn. So... Do not blame somthing when u do not know.
