A new Facebook app called Give Real facilitates your buying the next round. If you want to buy your friends a drink, you can now do so via the popular social media site, and your friends can take your goodwill and turn it into the pint or cocktail of their choice, as both parties raise a glass to social e-commerce.
The wider applications, though, encompass just about any sort of financial transaction for which you'd use a credit card, sort of like a mix between Paypal and email money transfer. Since the credit card transfer isn't specifically tied to a given par or given drink (beyond the Facebook display that's present for most apps), the recipient can use those six bucks to buy whatever they want.
The concept is, in theory, very similar to start-ups like buyyourfriendadrink.com. But services like that are only compatible with participating bars, and Give Real has found a workaround that will make its gifting service compatible with any bar that accepts credit cards. You opt to send a drink to a friend, your credit card gets charged, your friend chooses to accept the payment, and his or her credit card will be credited for that amount of cash when a purchase at an establishment considered a bar, restaurant, or cafe is made.

Angela here! I went out to the bar with my boyfriend and a good friend and for the first time ever ordered an Irish Trash Can. Not being a particular fan of red bull in and of itself i was hesitant. but.. low and behold.... I LOVE THEM!!! Definately my new favorite drink!!! I order them everytime i go out now! Fan of red bull or not its practically an endless drink and you barely acknowledge the red bull, i definately would recommend it to others!

Hightech!!! ha' ...but having fun with your friends or 'barkadas' in a bar or discos, with singing and dancing is so much fund and memorable... for me the happiest moment is in a 'karaoke bar" with my 'barkadas' we called it "celebrations", or sometimes a 'birthday celebration'.
