Built into the back of the LCD screen of the new PJ range is a high-contrast LED video projector giving you the freedom to share your favorite memories anywhere.

Powerful enough to project up to a 60” diagonal screen, this small mobile theatre, with advanced clear phase stereo speakers, packs a powerful punch. 

A Back-illuminated "Exmor R" CMOS sensor for superb low-light video recording, coupled with a wide angle professional G lens, AVCHD 1920 x 1080 Full HD MPEG4 resolution records film-like videos.  

Just a quick explanation of AVCHD, Advanced Video Coding High Definition. AVCHD is a high quality H.264/MPEG-4 compression system used in many professional AVCHD camcorder models but now showing up in our Prosumer camcorder reviews and even in the high end Consumer camcorders. Only the big 4, Sony, Canon, Panasonic and JVC use the AVCHD Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution format in their HD consumer camcorders.

External lights and microphones can be added via an active interface shoe.
