SpaceX Dragon Splashdown Video: New Chapter in Space Travel

The SpaceX Dragon spacecraft has returned to earth, splashing down in the Pacific ocean after delivering equipment, as well as Star Trek actor James Dohan's ashes, to the ISS.

Dragon landed 560 miles off the coast of Baja California, clearing the way for SpaceX to begin its 12-flight contract with NASA, which is worth around $1.6 billion.

Meanwhile, Virgin Galactic has gotten the FAA A-OK for suborbital test flights. Welcome to the age of commercial space travel.
