Spanish giant oil company eyes Indonesian workers

London (ANTARA News) - Spanish giant oil, gas and energy company Repsol YPF hopes as many Indonesian workers as possible will work for the company, Indonesian Embassy spokesman in Madrid Allen Simarmata said on Monday.

Simarmata made the statement at a meeting with Repsol recruitment and management officials at the company`s main office in the Spanish capital of Madrid.

According to him, Repsol needs a lot of Indonesian workers with expertise who can work for the company in Spain, Argentina, Libya, Algeria and in other countries where the giant gas and energy company is operating.

Repsol has subsidiaries in 30 countries.

"Therefore, the company is in need of geophysicists, development geologists, reservoir engineers, production engineers, drilling and workover engineers, senior geologists, senior geophysicists and senior drilling engineers from Indonesia," Allen Simarmata said.

He said a selection team from Repsol will come to Jakarta this month to interview and to select candidates who had applied through the company`s e-mail address: joinus@repsolypf.com, or its website www.repsolypf.com. (*) end
