Spore Creature Creator Video
Spore, an a evolutionary step in gaming that allows players to guide the development of races from single cell conception to a galactic empire, will be officially released September 7. Decisions made at the beginning of the game eventually effect the on going evolution of the creatures.

Electronic Arts and Maxis announced that Spore the most anticipated video game of the year from the creator of The Sims, has gone gold and will be available for the Mac and PC at retailers September 5 in Europe and September 7 in North America and Asia Pacific.

You might remember that a "creature creator" for the game was released earlier this year, which allowed people to create their own monsters. However, it quickly turned into an Internet meme as pornographic creatures known as "Sporn" popped up on flickr and YouTube.

The wave of Spore porn, or Sporn videos... features bizarre-looking animated beasts in lewd positions, making obscene gestures or posing with oversized genitalia.

Mark your calendars and prepare to by multiple copies because Spore is being released on several different platforms: Mac, PC, Nintendo DS and mobile phones will be allowed to play the game.

It should be noted that the phenomenon of Sporn, while a real issue at the initial release of the Creature Creator, has recently been less and less common. Most Sporn creators have been flagged and forced to remove their creations from EA's website, and the majority of the 3 million creatures uploaded to the official site as of this date are in no way Sporn related.

Yeah, I just thought I'd mention it seeing as that was a pretty big story a few months ago. Thanks for comment!

Sporn is not an issue anymore, EA has me to thank. I am a volunteer who reports bad creatures. I check the site as much as I can. All users need to start reporting bad content on Spore.com/sporepedia it is an E rated game sick minded people clean up your act!! Also, don't hesitate to download my creatures!! Rate them too, please. Spore is game of the year before it's even out!! Just a few more days!! I don't like Securo-rom I think it's punsihment for buying any game, but EA will phase it out soon, most people pirate the game anyhow. I'm not one but, I have heard in PC GAMER MAG that it is a reality. I for one have always supported Will Wright's creations no matter the cost. I first bought Sim City for DOS, and all the other games with his name on them. I know that Will Wright is a Gaming God! Please support Will, BUY SPORE!!

I'm not too keen on the anti piracy software either, but I will be buying the game for sure!

I'm sorry but I wasn't able to don't laugh of some of those Sporn.

Is nobodies fault, but with the amount of hours the developers spend testing and creating this programs, how is it possible that no one of them thought about this?
