Standard rechargeable battery Mobile will Revised

A working group established within the IEEE will soon be working on the revision of the Standard for Rechargeable Batteries for Cellular Telephones, aka IEEE 1725 standard, which applies now.

IEEE to revise the rules that include the quality and reliability of rechargeable battery and Lithium Polymer Li-Ion battery for mobile phones. This is due to the mobile telephony industry and has changed in recent years it.

"Consumers now demand more processing power of many and power management is better than cell phone, so it's time for us to review and revise the standards to ensure that the rules include the latest development in battery technology and industry knowledge. "said Jason Howard (Chair of the Cell Phone Battery Working Group).

The agenda also included the construction of the battery packs and elements of other mechanical, packaging technology, the level of replenishment and control cell discharging.

Cell Phone Battery Working Group will be meeting for the first time in 16 to 18 February 2010 in Washington, DC, USA.
