Apple CEO, Steve Jobs took a bite out of Google and the Android mobile platform during a call with analysts on Tuesday.
Steve Jobs went on a rant questioning Google's approach and strategy concerning the Android operating systems. 
Jobs said the Google/Android approach is fragmented as opposed to integrated. He went on to to say that the development environment for Android is over complicated of the hundreds of variety of mobile devices Android can run on.

What does it matter at the end of the day whether a platform is open or closed? There are arguments for and against for both and ultimately it is the user who choses which platform fits his or her use best.
