** FILE ** In this Feb. 28, 2007 file photo, spectators look at the giant magnet Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) being placed underground in the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) accelerator at CERN, the European Particle Physics laboratory, in Cressy, France near Geneva. Scientists of the CERN started the Large Hadron Collider LHC on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008 for the first time and successfully sent a beam of particles through the 27 kilometers long ring of the huge LHC. The first beam took 53 minutes to complete the circuit in this first test run. (AP Photo/Keystone, Salvatore Di Nolfi, File)
