With monetary gains taken during the period of May 2011-May 2012, the "Mean" singer garnered a whopping $57 million, edging out Justin Bieber ($55 million), Rihanna ($53 million) and Lady Gaga ($52 million).

Also worth mentioning is the power of "The Twilight Saga" - as the popular vampire franchise has throttled three cast members (Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner) all within the elite slate of young, money-making celebs.
