Get ready folks, because the second edition of the Tea Party Express is coming to a grassroots, "Take My Country Back" town near you!

The tour entitled "Countdown To Judgment Day" is scheduled to stop at 38 Cities/Towns across the United States starting yesterday, October 25, 2009 and November 12, 2009.

After two very well attended stops at the USS Midway, in San Diego and Griffith Park here in Los Angeles (thousands in attendance at both venues), the Tea Party Express II - "Countdown To Judgment Day" will be continuing on to Bakersfield and Fresno in the San Joaquin Valley (The Big Valley) through central California today.

To our fellow patriots in Bakersfield, CA & Fresno, CA - you're up next!

On Monday we'll have these two rallies. Please bring a friend or two, and let's continue the great turnout we've enjoyed so far for the Tea Party Express II: Countdown to Judgment Day!

MONDAY, OCTOBER 26th

9:00 AM - Bakersfield Rally
Heritage Park2320 Mt. Vernon Ave.
Bakersfield, CA

1:30 PM - Fresno Rally
Eaton Plaza2400 Fresno St.
Fresno, CA

The spamming at the website Blog comments has begun in an effort to discredit the strength of the response shown to the Tea Party Express II - "Countdown To Judgment Day" effort.

There were no signs earlier in the day so I didn't stay. I followed the directions but I never found the spot the TP was supposed to be at. By the way the traffic jam is due to a rock concert in Pasadena. YOu need to put up signs in these types of areas as I am sure a lot of people were early and just turned away I was there around 1 pm.

The comment was left by a potential spammer. There was a concert, but the U2 Concert that was to be held a few hours later was at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena ... about 12 miles East of Griffith Park.

I saw a local report on the TV news and there were thousands of people in attendance at the Tea Party Express II event in Griffith Park.

Follow the trek of the Tea Party Express II: Countdown to Judgment Day! over the next 18 days as it winds its way across the US, to end up in Orlando, Florida all in an effort to stop the out-of-control spending efforts of our current political leadership in Washington DC.

Hop on board, the attitude is fine!

UPDATE I: You can see a slideshow of photos taken at the San Diego kick-off by local supporter Neil Turner - VIEW SLIDESHOW HERE.

UPDATE II: Thank you Fresno!

We had a great event in Fresno yesterday. We'll be posting a report in a bit about the event including a few pictures and news reports!

1: CBS-TV Fresno reports on the rally - HERE.

 2: NBC-TV Fresno also has a report - HERE.

Why on earth would you want to hold tea parties in Fresno and Bakersfield?Who cares about those places?Have one in San Fran or Sac and then it would be news worthy.

There is a very good reason why someone would hold Tea Party rallies in the central valley of California.

The environmentalists have shut down many agricultural operations ... farms are loosing trees, because this liberal Democrat controlled state has turned off the flow of water in the watering aqueduct in order to save the perceived natural habitat of the "Delta Smelt" ... a 2" fish that can be raised in a fishery.

There are many people in the San Joaquin Valley that are suffering (over 40,000 out of work) and a main backbone in our economy is being shut down.

The TeaParty Express Map would be a fun video game to play, especially if it was made in the likes of the Oregon Trail

Is it just me, or is the MSM ignoring these later rallies?

California's Water

The U.S. Dept of the Interior and U.S. Dept of Reclamation are federal agencies that also control water in California together with the California States Water Resources Control Board.

 http://www.mercurynews.com/news/ci_13651605

Reductions in water use are outlined in the California Senate Bill 1 7X—would require a 20 percent reduction in urban water use by 2020. Water district farmers, ranchers and agricultural water districts believe the quantification of water savings could lead to government agencies making crop planting determinations, depending on water availability. Districts that do not meet the conservation target would be ineligible for state grants and loans.  However, I propose crop planting determinations rely mainly on market demand, not on water needs, except during drought conditions when suppy effects all areas of water needs.  Although, I am not conserative, allowing the market to determine need and demand is a basic tenet of conservative ideals.

Regulations can be an incentive for farmers to adopt water conservation practices, but I also believe that the state should outline improved systems for water conveyance and partner with farmers to move forward so agricultural and environmental needs can be met.
