TELUS Mobility let slip their "Future Devices" by fastow.andy

Canadian wireless subscribers are being informed that TELUS Mobility appears to be working with Verizon wireless on their upcoming handsets.

An image has been released showing some internal components of TELUS' new Media Player. The source images used in the player clearly show the Verizon logo on some of the new handsets.

With firmware moving ever closer to Verizon colours and styling, it's no surprise when a TELUS Media Player release confirms some of the Canadian carrier's "Future Devices" in TELUS Mobility XML code.

Among mentioned manufacturers in the 'commented-out' code are HTC, Samsung and Canada's own Research In Motion (RIM).

The listed devices include:

- Blackberry Pearl 2

- Blackberry 8310 (Curve)

- Samsung Flipper ("Double-Flip")

TELUS Mobility has yet to comment on the matter but are expected to issue a patch for the code.
