Test shot with 50mm f1.7

I'm pumped! My doorbell just rang and it was the post office delivering my Pentax 50mm f1.7 lens I bought for $36 on eBay. I love my Pentax DSLR and one of the main reasons is the vast number of lenses that will work with it. Virtually every lens made for a Pentax camera is fair game. That means you can easily find bargains on great lenses. Of course, this one doesn't allow any automatic features, but it is a great lens.

I had these British pounds sitting around and thought they'd make a good test shot. Here they are spaced about 1 inch apart and I took the picture as close as I could get and still achieve focus on the second coin.
